I chose this topic because I feel its important that children don’t get used to depending on technology to be entertained or have fun. Also some parents may use technology to not have their kids bothering them and I feel there are other ways to do that. It is very important for children to know how to play and use real life things and use their imagination.

This subject is meaningful to me because from personal experiences I have seen how children act when they get the iPad or phone taken away and its not nice to see that when they can play with toys or go outside and do some fun activities.

This topic will impact me as an early childhood professional because I will be responsible for many children and how they learn and play. Also I would teach children how to keep themselves entertained and find ways to have fun without depending on technology.
