ALTERNATIVE FOR THOSE WHO MISS PRESENTATIONS ON MAY 16

For your final project, you will write a re-telling of a story. It can be a fairy tale, story, or movie, but will work best if it is something short that you can tell to yourself without having to refer back to a book/film.

For the title of your project, write the original story title with a colon, then add your own twist to it or a few words indicating what you are doing differently. For example, “Cenicienta: Gana la lotería” or “Caperucita roja: En un mundo vegetariano”.

Write your own version of this story, incorporating your change. Your story should be 10-15 sentences, and include verbs in both the preterit and imperfect tense, as well as appropriate vocabulary from class (colors, clothing, weather, emotions, comparisons, positive/negative, etc).

Please include 2-3 pictures to help illustrate your story. They can be from the internet, from personal photos, or something you draw. You may format your story on a word document, Powerpoint, GoogleDoc, GoogleSlides, Prezi, or any format you choose, as long as it is something you can upload to OpenLab, either with a link or as an attachment.

Upload your final projects here by May 20.
