Welcome!

Saudade is a Portuguese word with a unique meaning: the nostalgic longing for something or someone that was loved and lost; the love that remains.

This community is for:

– Folks that have Portuguese as their native language and have “saudade” of using it;
– Portuguese learners;
– Folks that don’t know anything about Portuguese but are curious about it;
– Folks that want to meet new people, eat food and have fun!

To participate, login the OpenLab and join our OpenLab profile. You’ll receive our updates and invitation to our meetings.

Our meetings are every Friday at 3pm (online and eventually in person at the BMCC campus).

In Fall Semester, we’ll start meeting on September 2nd. More information will be shared soon.
