Make a list of important dates, holidays, and festive events that you celebrate during the year. Make sure to include your birthday (Meu aniversário). Where appropriate, give the name of the holiday in Portuguese. For example, O Natal (Christmas) é no 25 de dezembro.
Include at least 5 dates and at least 1 picture (either your own or from the internet)
Here are a few Brazilian carnaval events going on this weekend and the next few weeks. Any of these would count for your cultural event for the semester. Please note some of them are paid events and/or places where you might have to buy food. Do not feel pressure to go if this is an issue, there will be plenty of free events to choose from.
