Challenging Generational Curses by Realynne Ureña

I will be an independent woman.

I will have pride and reputability.

My home will be small, humble, colorful, and it will smell like vanilla. .

My garden will have montsera, aloe, and sprinklers for water,

the, grass

My family will enjoy laying in the grass and trying to avoid getting wet by the sprinklers

and playing a multitude of sports together every sunday.

I will share my life with a child or two, both full of energy

and a gray siamese with blue eyes and a blonde street cat.

The family I create will be joyful, and full of life.

Our children will hear “no worries!” when accidents happen rather than being scolded

and have their own space to spend time alone when they’d like.

Our belief system will be everyone’s own choice.

We will live in a city or atleast near one.

We will eat mofongo and platano maduro but we can have mexican on fridays.

I will have various trophies in volleyball and softball to show my children,

the degrees will be hung beside them.

My partner will  share my achievements in their own sport and career.

I will have my own space for my hobbies and a huge kitchen with the newest appliances.

I will be proud.
