  1. 1. It’s still unbelievable to see how vastly different wealth is distributed between the top 1% and the rest. We saw a video recently that showed how people would ideally distribute wealth, what they thought was correct and the actual answer. Seeing all these perspectives and then learning the truth is really baffling.
    2. Since inequality in wealth is already present, there are things that could get worse if things don’t change. In one of the videos we saw, it was presumed that if we kept going in the way we were, we would end up in a Communist society. Although that isn’t the case, this inequality in wealth can create rifts between people that could lead to societal problems. Today, there are visuals differences when it comes to cities with significant wealth gaps. You can tell by the state of homes, gated communities and even just stores in the neighborhood can show if it is a high-income or low-income area. Inequality can be seen in almost everyday life. You can see the difference in public schools from low-income and high-income areas by seeing what kind of amenities they possess. Low-income schools may not have the proper equipment that higher income schools may have.
