1. What I understand is it is all about the money the company will sell in order to buy and if they do buy they will buy plenty of the product and distribute it to a lower cost. On the other hand these companies is not losing anything, all thy are doing is to make money and to get more richer and gain more profit.

I understand that one is to sell in order to buy and one is to buy in order to sell. Also the M-is the money if they could not resell the product the capitalist would not accept it. The greater M is referred to as the surplus value because the consumer will buy the product and sell it at a lower cost. M is called the grain or profit which is referred to as surplus value.

Crime has often been used as a form of social control by the person in power who is privileged. Whenever they commit these crimes society tends to overlook those crimes which the justice system fail to take care of these crimes properly.

1. I believe the difference between each other is people with status that share the same kind of wealth according to were you live on different subway line. The other will be based on your income you Make and the school you attend, this will determine what social class you will be in.
2. Middle class, I will say it is accurate, I am not surprised because you can know what kind of people live in the neighborhood by the building, people, and social structure
3. Yes, because the upper class people will live with their kind, and and middle class intend to socialize with each other.

1. The army, police, court, and jail system comprise the Repressive State Apparatus. The main social purpose of the government, courts, police, and military forces is to intervene in politics on behalf of the ruling class’s interests, by suppressing the subordinate social classes when needed, using either violent or peaceful coercive measures. Althusser calls this repressive because of its limited freedom and you are told what is to be expected.
2. Althusser claims that ideological state apparatuses utilize tactics other than physical violence to attain the same goals as RSA. Educational institutions, media outlets, churches, social and sports groups, and the family may be among them.

1. In my own words ideology would be described as a system to keep everyone in check. Even though people would have some “freedom” ideology they make sure everything goes the way it is supposed to be like a structured system. An example of this would be the education system. Everything is in order and we have the “leaders” and the students that have to abide by every rule and do as they are told or there will be consequences.

The way I understand the difference between conservative and liberal ideology is that conservative is conserved more structure and “rules” while liberal is more open and more likely to give the people what they want. The big difference between liberals and conservatives is liberals think that the government should focus more on economic issues and less on moral ones. Conservatives feel that the government should focus more on social concerns and less on economic issues.
3. I view Althusser’s definition of ideology more of a practice. Things of order. As in the second video the examples were school, the government, and the police system. All these examples are practices put in place to keep order.

1. I believe white supremacy was superior in the south, because of this African Americans did not have much privilege. Law and order in the South did not benefit African Americans because they had less power, because of this their punishment for committing a crime was more cruel.   
2. Yes, I believe it still influences politics. When we vote they are divided political parties. As we look in our statistics today we can see both black and white people vote but the majority of the people that vote is white. In the result of this it causes friction between both parties not coming to a common ground.

1. Michelle Alexander stated that so many people sent to jail, are deeply wrong. Such as selling drugs, Michelle Alexander affirm that selling drugs does not stop the drug trade in the neighborhood. I believe the problem has to be dealt with in order for there to be a solution, then so many people will not be sent to jail.
2. The CIA did not have enough evidence due to the fact they were not doing their job efficiently, by not investigating the drug crime more intensely.
3. I understand that people who are convicted and served their time are released from prison, they want to control them by not giving them the opportunity of employment , vote and other benefits.
