Summary

1.According to MLK, how can we tell the difference between just and unjust laws? Understanding this questions is the most important part of this module, and I will ask it again during our second exam.
I believe a law is considered just when it applies fairly and equally to everyone and aligns to moral principles. When it is applyed to everyone equally and should have fairness. When it applys and it is consistently, without byies, transparency clearly defined, If one goes against the law no matter of skin color, race, gender it should Have the same consequence for everyone.

2.In your view, is this an important distinction (between just and unjust laws), do you think it makes a difference in the way someone (as an individual, or our society as a whole) lives their lives? Can it affect our politics?
In my view it is an important and clear distinction between Justin and just law and it also does affect everyone has an individual and our society as a whole and it really does depend on how we live our lives because, Expecting someone regardless of sex gender religion skin color we are all different, So no 2 persons think alike so just that really does crashes with other people. I have a respect for somebody that is completely different in opposite of one really is hard so with just that of respecting 1 another. Believe it's very clear. And of course just an unjust law really does affect our politics and our political decisions in our country because the Amendments was not written by 1 person but by multiple persons agreeing to something that will benefit a whole nation a whole country and these men had a clear view on how different everyone was.

3.Based on our discussion of Question 1, give an example each, of an unjust and just law, in the US today. Explain what makes it unjust or just (using MLK’s definition of those two types of laws).
"A just law is a man-made code that squares with the moral law or the law of God." I believe what Martin was saying about a just law that is made for man but God revealing a moral law too man so that he could act upon that law but it is a god-given law so that men could live a godly way. Martin was putting God as a law because of his Christianity faith For example a just law would be freedom of religion so because of this law Martin could speak right and advocate and b advice preaching about God that is the main center of Christianity faith.

"An unjust law is a code that is out of harmony with the moral law", And I believe an unjust law what Martin was saying is out of harmony with the moral law which moral law only comes from God so if you are going against that moral law then you are not in harmony and you're applying an unjust law to everyone. As to be just is to be what God says is just and to be unjust is what goes against what God says. For example an unjust law could be a law that goes against the 10 commandments that God had established to Moses. The 6th commandments Says you shall not kill, But of course a lot of African Americans at that time were killed and just like Adolf Hitler also killed millions of Jews, this goes against the moral law and for that simple reason it is unjust
