Summary
1.Based on the arguments presented in Readings 6.1 and 6.2, which social class wrote the Constitution, and which class was excluded and not allowed to participate in this process? In your comment, make sure you clearly specify the difference between the two classes by giving examples from the readings.
Based on what I read in the readings of 6.1 and 6.2 the social class that wrote the Constitution was the wealthy class. And the class that was excluded and not allowed to participate in the process of writing the Constitution was the poor class And middle class. But not only the poor class but they specified in the reading that woman ,was not allowed to participate ,any white male that did not own property ,slaves ,immigrants, Indians and African Americans. The wealthy people wrote the Constitution in regards and thinking of their benefit. The poor middle class was not included in writing the Constitution along with the other things that I have mentioned Because they would have made itPersonal I'm thinking what could benefit to them
2.Would say that the social class structure of early United States society, was the same as ours today, or different? Explain.
I would not say that's the United States society class structure is different today from when it was first Arting for the very fact that the wealthy still have more of a voice and more of a vote in today's society Of course the wealthy people do tend to lean more towards what would benefit to them and the country but they do not think how it would affect the poor middle class. And of course the poor middle class I believe they do not think about what is best for the country they just think about themselves and wawa help them out so both classes of today's society is not different from what it was when it started because both classes think of what will help their own needs.
3.Why were the people who wrote the Constitution so afraid of democracy? Hint: think about how to answer this question by discussing it in terms of social classes.
The people who wrote the Constitution was afraid of democracy because democracy brought a lot of freedom to the people who were not allowed to write the Constitution they brought a lot of understanding understanding Helping the women giving them their independence they helped a lot of the African American slaves at the time that they would there were so many of them that they were going to impact how the society would be Rund the Indian Americans they were afraid of , The poor white males who did not own property because they were afraid that they were going to take away what would benefit the wealthy. Since there were more poor people and middle class they were going to most likely win the both of changing many things and since there were fewer wealthy people the wealthy will not be able to live the life they were used to living. And as as they say money makes the world go round. The framers were of the opinion that democracy (rule by the common
people) was “the worst of all political evils,” as Elbridge Gerry put it. (page 8)
