1)The wealthy and the powerful class also known as the gentlemen were the ones who wrote the constitution. the classes that were excluded were small farmers, servants, and slaves. the reason the wealthy were the ones who wrote the constitution was because they wanted to remain wealthy and this way, they were able to protect themselves and keep their wealth.

2) I’m a little torn I honestly think it’s a mixture of both the same and a little different. To me its the same because a lot of people with higher class are the ones of the rich and wealthy while the ones of lower are the poorer people. However, I do believe it is a little different because today they have more resources for people to help them evolve and change their circumstances. today there are programs that help everyone even if some use it more or gain more from it.

3) I think that they were more or less afraid of losing their wealth and social status and this is why they didn’t not democracy. they did not really care about the others they cared about themselves and how democracy will affect them.
