1)What she means I believe is that when you remove all the white people who think that because they are white, they are better or can achieve more than another race then there wouldn’t be any racism. White people do not see black people as an equal and that’s where the problem really stems from. Ruthie stated that whiteness is a race while black isn’t a race so when removing the color and just treating everyone as one then we wont really have this issue of racism.

2)They create new criminals by making sentences longer and pretty much terrorizing people while in incarcerated. as well as they create a bunch of new things to lock people up for. As well as when people reenter back into society, they have a hard time making it easier for them to do wrong then try to get their life in order. Do i agree with her yes, I do because every day you see people of color being arrested for minor things or you see people getting arrested for things they did not do and spending months even years incarcerated.

3)I understand it to mean everyone as a different idea of how to try to become free, and you have to stand together and put all ideas together in order to make it happen.
