1. The similarities from 4.1 and 4.2 is they both spoke on the income and the areas of which people lived to determined their social class. The difference is in 4.1 education, race and age were some factors for also determining a person’s social class while 4.2 mainly spoke about residence of people and their income.
  2. I live close to the crown heights Utica Ave train station on the 3 and 4 lines as well as Utica Ave train station on the A and C lines and according to the 4.1r reading I live in the within a variety of lower, working and middle class. I am not surprised at all because between these stops you have a variety of houses, brownstones and some project buildings (NYCHA) in the area. Walking down different blocks you can see the streets of the people who are in “lower class”, “working class” and “middle class”.
  3. The pattern I saw was most of the highest median incomes came from out of Manhattan while places like the Bronx, Brooklyn and Queens had low-income medians.

  1. Hi Lathisha I agree with your thoughts , your response to question to is somewhat similar to my thoughts on how a lot of these low class places are also becoming gentrified there can be nycha projects then have brownstones directly across the street mixing the “ lower and middle class “ so like you said walking down different blocks you would see a mixture
