Preparation for June 10 Zoom session
Read the following articles, write responses/notes to the spark questions, which we’ll use as a jumping off point for our discussion during the Zoom session:
- Creating learning experiences with backward design
- Visit the backward design page linked above and complete the activities including the reflection prompt
- Choose a learning outcome, module, or class session to bring to Thursday’s session; we will use these to (re)design a learning experience with backward design.
Thursday, June 10
- Come ready to share your name, how it’s pronounced, and a story or something you would like us to know about your name. If you prefer, you can share a challenge or success in one of your courses in lieu of a name story.
- A Room of One’s Own: Apply backward design to a learning outcome, module, or class session of your course.
