Exploring the Brain, Understanding the Mind
Welcome to the Neuropsychology Lab, where we investigate the neural mechanisms underlying cognition, perception, and behavior. Our research focuses on brain activity patterns, cognitive processes, and how neurophysiological techniques can inform our understanding of the human mind.
Our Mission
The Neuropsychology Lab at Social Sciences Department is dedicated to providing students with hands-on experience in EEG research. Our primary goal is to prepare students for senior colleges and professional neuroscience laboratories by equipping them with the skills needed to conduct EEG-based studies.
Through structured training and real-world experimentation, students learn how to:
✔ Set up and operate EEG equipment
✔ Design and implement cognitive neuroscience experiments
✔ Collect and analyze neurophysiological data
✔ Interpret brain activity in relation to cognition and behavior
Opportunities for Students
The lab provides hands-on training in EEG data collection and analysis, offering students the opportunity to participate in real-world neuropsychological research. Stipend recipients work on independent projects, culminating in a research paper and poster presentation.
Join Us
We welcome students and researchers interested in cognitive neuroscience, neuropsychology, and EEG research. Whether you’re looking to gain research experience or explore the brain’s intricate functions, our lab offers an engaging and supportive environment.
