Among us Customs

I started out with the draft of the game that I wanted to create, I knew at first that it was going to need a lot of artwork for the character, items, and buttons. Each of them needed their own artwork, so the player can tell which button goes with what.

This is the background, where the among us characters will be on the “left” and the buttons and menu will be on the “right”. Like how it’s shown in the drafts.

These were all the customs among us players. So the player can choose what one they wanted.

These were the different menu buttons, I was going to add death animations but it was too difficult to animate or try to get it to work a certain way. So I just dropped it.

All the colors in the color menu button.

All buttons in the hat menu.

All buttons that are in the accessories menu.

All weapons.

All pets.

Here’s a little gameplay!!

Here’s how it looks with different items on and the background altogether. It took a really long time to draw out all the buttons and icons but I am overall really happy with the result!

I didn’t really have any attachment with the original game of Among us, it was a fun game to play overall, and seeing other streamers play it. Personally, it wasn’t my favorite game but I still liked creating a more in-depth customization game on Among Us.

My game is called Among Us Customs

here’s the link to play it; Among us Customs by Christy322 (itch.io)

eljay morrison skill tree

This semester I plan to focus on art and sound like character design background art and background music. I also plan on focusing on level design.

Luca Del Priore skill tree plan

I plan to focus on the development tab since “gameplay is king” music and art can be added later but making sure you have fun base game is the most important i think.

Skill Tree – Jingyue Gao

Hi Professor and Classmates,

Here is my skill tree. I want to create a strategy game, so there must be some different levels allowing players to challenge with. Therefore, I want to spend more time on level design, developer, and user interface design. Also, I definitely want to publish my game and invite more people to test it. So, I guess I can get the points from the publishing part. Last but not least, I feel it is important and necessary to explore more genres of games. Therefore, I would like to do some research on it.

Kenneth Ruiz – My Skill Tree Plan

Though my skill tree may be far from final, I plan to start off by making a 2D sidescrolling game that uses simple controls. My skill tree may be a bit overambitious as well, but I plan to adapt it in the future depending on what I succeed in and what I have trouble doing.

Paris La Infierno Skill Tree Plan

Hello everyone, I’m Paris! This skill tree is obviously not set in stone, but I am most familiar with animation and drawing so that is where I plan to put a lot of effort. I would like to create a 3D game, but the process for that might exceed what can be accomplished in the span of this class. Either way, I am interested in the process of moving what I created into the game engine and am really excited to learn as much as I can from this class, so I want to try a little bit of everything. Good luck to everyone this semester!

skill tree

i’m going to create and develop a game. i’m still trying to figure out what it’s going to be about but i know it’s going to be exciting. It’s going to have a main character, an a few enemies. And obstacles too.

i look forward to designing a neat interface that users can easily play around with and understand.

My Skill Tree Plan

This semester I want to focus on making art and graphics for my game, and add some sound effects and background music. I definitely want to publish my game and send it to people to test and give me feedback 🙂
