In the final design, I decided to give it a cannon not only to give it more functionality but also as a way to sell the aggressiveness. I would’ve added a few more features, but I figured that in this case, simplicity would help me a lot more in the long run.
For my avatar, I chose to make a fairy similar to the ones you see in The Legend of Zelda, which is a series that I rarely play but enjoy nonetheless.
Though my skill tree may be far from final, I plan to start off by making a 2D sidescrolling game that uses simple controls. My skill tree may be a bit overambitious as well, but I plan to adapt it in the future depending on what I succeed in and what I have trouble doing.
