Level Design Showcase – FG
First, the player is guided through the level by following the signposts that have arrows pointing in various directions that gives the player the cue to navigate the level on the correct path.
Then, the player decides whether to take the risk to eat the group of cookies to score more points in the game, but the player puts their life in risk from doing so because the group of cookies are guarded by the monster insect.
Finally, the player has to face an obstacle in order to win the level. (Winning part not implemented yet). Fortunately, the player has the choice to either take a bigger risk and bigger reward or lower risk but lower reward. The bigger risk involves having the player to navigate through the hazardous vine maze which is surrounded in two ways and sometimes gets cramped, but the player navigates through the vine maze, the more cookies that the player can eat and increase their score. The lower risk involves having the player get past the monster insect on both sides (top and bottom) while avoiding the hazardous vines but this time, there is more space which makes the challenge easier to overcome.

My User Testing Feedback

Users played the game evenly between less than 5, 5 to 10 and more than 10 minutes. I think the game should take at least 5 minutes, so I want to make sure the game play is a bit longer.
