for my scenery I used a Japanese lantern , temple, gate and so bamboo. I was going for a Japanese theme game.
Here are all the scenery elements I made. They are all meant to showcase the location my protag is centered in.
Here is how they all look together within the scene. I also circled where they are in red just in case.
I created rocks, clouds, trees, and blue background.
And here is the Godot scene for the scenery.
Today I made multiple versions of different scenery, and imported them into Godot.
To expand, I’d make a darker layer of dense trees on a parallax layer. I felt it made sense that the trees I already made keep speed with the player since they’re closer.
