For this interactive design assignment I chose to create a controllable circle that moves around at fixed points across the canvas. I assigned these controls using the arrow keys, which is mentioned in the included HTML text.

when moving the mouse the circles color becomes the middle circles shadow or darker color.

Here is my simple interactive design. Move your mouse from left to right, up and/or down. Once you do that, it continues to change colors.

By moving around the canvas you get can a little glimps of the idea of the sun being covered by the moon.

the rectangle changes the color of the circle

All you have to do is click around to move the blue circle to completely cover the black circle.
