I recreated Tim from “Tim and Mobey” for my Self-portrait assignment mostly because all throughout middle school and the beginning of high school, in my science classes, we used to watch their videos all the time. It was a happy childhood memory. I tried to recreate him from memory without looking at his videos.

Malibu Barbie (Self Portrait: Version 1 )
I decided to recreate an iconic logo that I have seen since my childhood. Barbie was one of the brands I admired and loved to collect dolls and watch their movies. I love the early 2000s aesthetic and am very much into y2k fashion. As a kid, I loved watching Bratz, Monster High, and Disney princess movies and just using old gaming systems, it is a huge part of me which is why I decided to recreate the malibu barbie logo.

I chose Four Squares by Kazimir Malevich to recreate for Assignment 1. I chose to change the color from white to yellow to make it more interesting.
A Recreation Of “Peasants” By Kazimir Malevich
Here is the code I used to create this image. The hardest part of the coding was figuring out the spacing of the quads and ellipses. However, once I got the first one down the rest were easy with math.
