Scratch Documentation Week 2

This is a image of the player character. I wrote basic code to make the character move left and right, with all 4 of the costumes frames.

This is a image of all the player costumes frame. I made a 4 frames of animation of Kirby walking forward, after that I duplicated and flipped all the frames for when Kirby is walking backwards.

This is a in game preview image. Not a whole lot is happening besides here just Kirby standing.

Player movement and sprite

This is the animation code for the player sprite.

This is the beginning of my bird sprite code.

Here’s the game with the player and the bird sprite.

Assignment# 1- Piskel Animation

Super Mario – Pixel

Here is my sprite animation consisting of 10 frames. As you can see, it’s of Mario. This week, I’ve been playing a lot of retro games, and I remembered this one in particular.

Scratch Week 2

This is my first time using this site to code so I hope I learn more along the way

Scratch Week 2

This is my first time using Scratch for animation. Here’s the code I used to make my character walk, along with the different costumes to show the movement step by step.

Scratch week 2

This is my first time using scratch for animation. This is the coding to get the character in a running animation along with the costumes to show the progress.

Scratch Progress Week 2

Its been a while since I used Scratch so I’m trying to get back into the swing of things. Running into a little bit of difficulty but so far hasn’t been that bad.

I was kinda having a hard time depicting the legs and it moving, so i went with something basic and not too complicated but I would like to revisit in the future.

This is a preview, Can’t really depict it as of now but the character moves back and forth via key presses (My bad about the recording, still a lil confuse).

Scratch Progress Week2

This is my first time programming with Scratch. I created my art in Piskel and played around with the movements on Scratch. Im enjoying the program so far.

Im still getting the hang of the software, we learned how to create costumes in class today, I haven’t created one yet but will in the next class

This is a preview of my player. He is a baby alien that is jumping rope.

Zen’s Scratch Game Progress

basic coding test

On my first day of coding with Scratch, I created a basic idle animation as well as a simple walking animation, although the walking animation isn’t quite finished.

costumes for my character.

These are the costumes for my character. They include the 2 frames for the idle and the frames for the walking animation.

Here’s a short video showing the idle animation I made.
