LinkedIn Learning
This resource that you would normally have to pay for is free to all BMCC students. It has video tutorials on almost every software you can imagine and it also has courses on things like interview skills, video and audio production and more.
LinkedIn Learning Login Instructions (you log in with your BMCC information, similar to the OpenLab).
Computers, Software and Equipment
There will be a number of computer labs where you can go to do your work for class. Right now, the only one that I can confirm is open is the lab in the LRC.
Learning Resource Center: 199 Chambers St. – Room S510C
This is in the corner of the LRC on the 5th floor. it should have Audacity and all of the Adobe programs there. Some tutors will also hold their tutoring sessions there.
Laptop Loaner Program: Library
If you don’t have your own computer at home or it can’t run our software (Adobe is the one that needs more RAM) go to the Library on the 4th floor of 199 Chambers you can let them know that you are in MMP 100 and would like to borrow a laptop for the semester.
Please call the Library staff at 212-220-1451 or email loaner@bmcc.cuny.edu if you have any questions.
More places to come as their confirmed.
