This is a discussion board where you get to write your thoughts and ideas on the films we’re watching. It’s a chance to talk about the films in regards to currents events and/or your life, whether or not you emotionally resonated with the material, and your overall reflections on it.
After your first entry (which is required for all students), this is an optional space for students unless you plan on earning an A. Then it is required. I do expect every student to respond at least once in the first three weeks.
I would really like a link to a short youtube video of you speaking about whatever it is you have to say. Right now the youtube video is not required, but highly suggested — it may become a required way to respond later in the semester.
With this in mind, this means no summaries or synopsis, and no thoughts from the internet whatsoever.
Most importantly, with a heavy heart, there will be a zero tolerance to even a whiff of plagairism in any form.
I’m curious about how YOU think about these films — not the thoughts of others
