This class builds upon principles and skills learned in Foundations of Digital Design. Students will apply the principles underlying effective visual communication to increasingly complex design problems. Projects may include poster design, symbols and logos, editorial design, information design, visual identity and branding and other design systems. Critical analysis of design problems and the creative design process will be emphasized. Students will complete reading and writing assignments in addition to problems in visual communications and design.

The Office of Student Activities (OSA) is responsible for promoting extracurricular and co-curricular programs that complement and enhance each student’s academic experience and personal development. Specifically, this office works closely with the Student Government Association, student clubs and organizations, and the Office of Student Affairs to provide the college with cultural, educational, and social programs. In addition, the OSA serves as a planning resource for campus events; supervises the campus posting policy and offers leadership training to students.
