Fall 25 Internship Advisement and Registration Sessions

Are you interested in gaining experience in a creative industry through an academic internship in Spring 2026?

You are invited to an internship advisement and registration session to get started.

Eligible students should have taken production courses in their major. For example 2D/3D classes for ANI majors, 200 level courses for MMD majors and 2 or more video or sound production courses for VAT majors.

If you are not sure if you are ready, you are encouraged to attend a session to learn more about it for planning purposes.

Student attendees will learn how an academic internship will provide them with experience in their field that will advance their educational growth and professional creative practice.

The sessions will cover the academic framework and requirements for internships and how to apply to register to earn academic credit for it through BMCC”s online platform Handshake.

In addition, students will learn how to find an internship, what the internship learning experience is all about, and how to make the most of an internship to inform your professional and academic experience.

IMPORTANT: Because BMCC students cannot register for this course through CUNYfirst, you must first apply to register through BMCC”s online platform Handshake, which will be demonstrated during this session.
