The final project should combines at least 2 of the areas we have covered in course. For example, it could be a project that combined laser cutting with physical computing, or 3D modelling with laser cutting.
Your project could be a new character or model that complements the character you have already created., or it could be something entirely new. You may want to make something functional, like a lamp that consists of an array of LEDs inside of a 3D printed case you design.
Start thinking of what you might want to make at the beginning of the semester. It will likely change a great deal, but keep writing down and sketching your ideas thoughout the course.
Requirements for the final will include:
- Sketches
- A project proposal
- A written step by step description of how you will accomplish the project
- A prototype of the project in paper or an appropriate material
- Documentation of the completed project
