This is the site for MEA 211 in the Media Arts and Technology Department at BMCC.

In this hands-on course, you will learn how to create physical interfaces for interacting with technology. You will be introduced to digital fabrication techniques, learn how to program microcontrollers, and how to build simple circuits. An emphasis will be placed on building and revising prototypes.

Many of the illustrations and text in the Physical Computing chapter are taken from Jody Culkin and Eric Hagan’s book Learn Electronics with Arduino: An Illustrated Beginner’s Guide to Physical Computing”. Some of these resources are also available for free at arduinotogo.com.
