I updated the games and export the final build to itch.io. Play the game & post any comments or issues on the user testing form.

Updates
So, I got most parts of my game working. I created 3 levels, added splash menus with instructions, sounds and currently working on the scripts for the enemies, global collectible script and the hud itself. User test form 3 is up and live .

Updates: Dev Blog 8
Some updates to the terrain of the levels (1 & 3). Added portal in between levels and should work. I also added User Testing Form (part 2) both here and on Itch.io.
User Testing part 3 will be uploaded soon.



Dev Blog 7
Took a break from updating the levels and started working on my enemy animation in Blender fro a rigged character at Turbosquid.com. I downloaded a couple more components to add to the level and currently working on adjusting to the level size.
It should look like that when rendered.
Hopefully, next blog will be about the User Testing part 2 and should able to upload it to Itch.io soon.

Level 1
Currently is 50-60% complete. Only missing a couple of texture that I am working on for the house itself and the alien Spaceship. Also working on creating a portal script for the ship so that once the player enter the collision area, it’s transported to Level 2.

Level 2
Level 2 has a long platforming section, so lots of ups and downs. Currently updating the character sprint mechanic in the script and adding additional components to fit into the aesthetic I am going with. I also added , as a placement, for a water floor so that if the player misses a platform or fall of the platform, the player dies.

Level 1
Sorry for the late post, but I was able to updated some components of my game. On level 1, I updated and added a new tree and mushroom from Turbosquid.com website. It is weird that the textures are already applied to the tree but not on the mushroom, have to look into it.

Level 2
AS for level 2, I created a long chase level for the player to do platforming. The same non-textured platforms are in the level, need to look into that, also the green wall. Funny how the other walls has the texture but not the other ones.

I have started working on level 2 and only has the bare bone of a level. I will add in more to the level.


This level is connected right at the end of Level 1, near the UFO and the NPC. I need to create a portal system with script within the UFO so that the player can play the game further.

So I created Level 1 and added other shapes into the level. Trees, Desks, Lighting fixtures and other assets have been added to the level. This the starting level and very few things for the player to interact with.




A couple more things to add to this level: i.e Lighting,Colors & Texture(House, Trees, environment), a riverbed and an NPC that is interactable with the player.
