VR PROJECT

For my VR project, I wanted to make it a platformer with a bit of a twist. For starters, the top three images show everything in normal light, two different pathways that contain different planes and spheres to jump to, beams to balance and traverse on, and weaving and incline hopping. The bottom two images show how it would look when you play, very very dark. The idea is that you can’t see a whole lot of what’s in front of you, so it’s more of you discovering your pathway instead of you planning ahead of time. I also planned to use a low humming sound to make the darkness around the player more eerie. I believe that the limited amount of light makes you a bit more cautious of how you move, making the game more interesting.

Final Project concept

I am doing an improvement upon my 3D game project. Three improvements I am making are 1. More coins to collect 2. A more complex layout, with it being shaped more like a maze 3. The game will be surrounded by a real image of the outside, so it’ll look like it’s a small game taking place in a large world, giving it more scale.

AR Project

This is my AR project, the concept of this was a little alien robot was shooting lasers out of its eyes. The point being that, if you were to put a real life object in front of this robot, it were to look as though it was shooting at the object.
