consumer decision making process

I just moved to Salt Lake City for work. I have never been or lived here, and I am looking for a fine Italian restaurant. I’m in the mood for pasta, and I feel like ordering spaghetti pomodoro. Since I am not familiar with the area I would like to order from a restaurant that offers home delivery. Also, I would want to order from a restaurant that’s affordable .

Now, I will start my search for my restaurant ! Since I am not familiar with the area and I don’t know where things are, I will make use of technology and search for Italian restaurants in Salt Lake City in google maps. I have come across a few Italian restaurants such as Valter’s Osteria,Stanza Italian Bistro bar, and Brio Italian Grille. I look for their reviews and they all have pretty good reviews , But Now I have to look for affordability. The one that has pretty good reviews and it’s affordable for me is the Brio Italian grille. The review is of 4 stars out of 5 . The reviews were very important in helping me make a decision .

 “ I highly recommend it !!”

I made up my mind and called Brio Italian grille and ordered my spaghetti Pomodoro. They told me My order would be $15.99 plus $5.99 for delivery, so in total it was $21.98. I was Happy to pay that price because it was very affordable for me .

This purchase met my need as a consumer because it was a fine Italian Restaurant, the price was affordable and the food tasted delicious. Also, the delivery was very fast. I, as a customer, am very happy with my purchase.

In conclusion, I have always used the consumer decision making process Without even noticing. Whenever I buy something I always look for reviews and affordable prices . In this module I have learned about the importance of the consumer decision making process. We as customers need to be aware and informed about the products we want to buy.
