For next class, please locate an article or other piece of writing that addresses raciolinguistic ideologies. Once you locate the article, please read it and bring it to class.

Please read the chapter on language and culture which has been posted in the Unit 2 section. Also, please do the Reading Response 1 (this is posted in the Assignment section). The test will be posted sometime between now and Saturday. Let me know if you have any questions!

2. Read the Coates reading found under Unit 1
3. Read the Rodman reading found under Unit 2
