Who Am I?
I was born and raised outside of Baltimore, MD. I am a 1st generation college student. In 1993 I moved to New York City and met my wife in 1996. We live in Yonkers, with our 3 dogs and our 2 foster children.
I worked with infants, toddlers, and families for 20+ years before joining the faculty at BMCC in 2015.
In my community, I have the privilege of serving on and collaborating with the diverse members of the NYAEYC Governing Board, Yonkers Mayor Michael Spano’s LGBTQIA+ Advisory Board, the Yonkers Basics Advisory Board. When not working, I enjoy knitting, reading, being outdoors, and jigsaw puzzles.
