I put students in groups of three, and randomly assigned them one of the two plays we had read by this point. The students decided if they wanted to be the Costume Designer, the Casting Director, or the Scenic Designer. They discussed their vision for the play, and each group member filled in his or her slides on the PowerPoint. The students were able to present these over Zoom. I did the screenshare from my computer. This helped streamline things, tech-wise. Just be sure to download a copy of the Google slides, then change the “Share” settings to “Anyone with the link can EDIT.”
