I created this Bitmap Alphabet for a “Typography and Layout” class. Creating the alphabet was fun because we could only use black squares. The most challenging part was to pay attention to the ascenders and descenders, lengths, baselines, and alignment. Using the grid on Illustrator helped me to keep sizes consistent.
