The Health Education Department is a dynamic and supportive academic community committed to students’ success in health programs. Our learners explore the foundations of health and wellness with a focus on preparing students for entry-level health care positions.
Our goals are to
1) create a learning environment through teaching excellence, student activities, and experiential learning that supports students’ well-being and academic success, and
2) provide students with resources to transfer to baccalaureate programs and/or join the healthcare workplace upon graduation with associate degrees in health.
