These techniques work well in entertainment, but deepfakes worry the hell out of me. These techniques are progressing so fast, and while it’s a great new frontier for animators and media, it’s also terrible for public safety and national security. The US president literally puts out messages OVER TWITTER referring to other world leaders in a derogatory manner. God forbid that twitter page gets hacked and a fake video of SOMETHING gets put it. Great strides in entertainment, but mostly worry.
