Some differences is that photoshop has too much, and if you don’t understand the program you can get frustrated and quit. D paint has a lot of the same tools such as the selection tool, crop tool, and brush tools. One thing that Photoshop has the upper hand on is the layers feature which makes it so much easier, especially if you mess up on a certain area.
