I find sound fascinating when it comes to films, TV, and games. Because a film can pick up every sound or want to make certain sounds louder for suspense or the viewer to feel a certain way. Foley is the money maker, and not given the credit where it’s due. They use corn starch for walking in snow, playing in the bath tub to make the splashing sounds on a boat. In Jurassic Park the T-rex is make up of a bunch of animal noises combined such as a whale and lion.
