Description

MAT056 Intermediate Algebra and Trigonometry Course: This course is the second algebra course offered at the BMCC College of the CUNY. This course is open to students who have completed elementary algebra or its equivalent. It includes such topics as: factoring, solutions of linear and quadratic equations, trigonometric relationships, exponents, logarithms, and the graphs of quadratic equations. Then since this course is an intermediate algebra and trigonometry course it also includes such topics as properties of real numbers, polynomials and factoring, equations in one and two variables, inequalities, systems of linear equations, rational expressions, rational exponents and roots, quadratic functions, exponential and logarithmic functions, and an introduction to trigonometry.
