Portfolio: Maria Alvarez

This portfolio was created as part of my Early Childhood Education studies at Borough of Manhattan Community College (BMCC). It reflects my growth, experiences, and understanding of working with young children throughout my coursework and fieldwork. In this portfolio, I have included assignments, reflections, and examples of my teaching practices that demonstrate my commitment to supporting children’s development in meaningful and engaging ways.

As I continue my journey in becoming an early childhood educator, this portfolio shows how I am learning to create inclusive, supportive, and developmentally appropriate learning environments. It represents not only what I have learned so far, but also my passion for working with children and helping them grow.
