Course: English 201 Composition II SP2020 Elida DeKlein

This course will focus on introducing the class to the many genres of fiction in which the goal is to construct a final research paper. We will read various types of poems, plays, and one novel in order to help you construct your own well-thought out essays. Via these texts we will dive into the world of fiction and literary criticism by in-class writings, response papers, and three formal papers. Keep in mind because this is an intensive writing course, so writing will be a large part of this class. Not only will we work on honing your writing skills, we will also work on improving your grammar, syntax and vocabulary. At the end of this class you should all be excellent writers who will not only construct sophisticated research papers, but will also be able to think critically!
