Hello my name is Alexandra ! but you can call me Alex for short I’m a 18 soon to be 19 year old women who majoring in ECE (early childhood education) I’m here in bmmc to get my associates degree, wishing and hoping to move into a 4 year college to get my bachelor’s degree as well. I’m working in a middle school now in sunnyside Astoria as a role model/group leader after school to help engage with 6th and 7th graders with studies, homework, and even physical activity in a way to make kids feel happy and energetic when they walk in and out the doors. Education is a big priority for the youth and which I believe that the right role model and leadership brings out the greatest in our next generations coming forward which is why I’m very passionate with working with kids/young children not only to help them learn but guide them through their journey of learning and discovering. I’m very excited to be part of this class as well and can’t wait to learn more about ECE and engage with each other.
