Hi everyone, My name is Meici, and I’m from China. Since English is my second language, the language may be a little difficult. I have always been passionate about working with young children because I love watching them explore, grow, and develop their personalities. Their curiosity and excitement about learning inspire me, and I want to be involved in creating a nurturing environment where they feel safe and supported.

For this class, I hope to learn more about child development theories and effective teaching strategies that support young children’s learning.

One of my most memorable experiences was when I took a short trip with my best friend. We had no set destination—just a sense of adventure. Along the way, we discovered a small town with a beautiful lake—Cold Spring—where we spent the entire afternoon chatting, laughing, and watching the sunset. That trip taught me that the best moments in life always happen when you least expect it.
