We as a community can come together and create a better educational system for the great minds of our future. The lack of funding for early childhood education can deeply affect children and their development because they aren’t provided with the right educational recourses.
Why should we do something about this?
- The lack of providing educational recourses to children can make them fall behind with their learning
- Can affect their learning ability as they get older
- Increase of stress and anxiety for young children
- Limited to a diverse perspective in education
- Overstimulation
Who’s being affected by this?
- Children – The lack of funding would not give them the resources needed which can affect their cognitive development.
- Families – they assume their child is going to school to learn new things but in the future, it can affect their learning ability and possibly need more help than others in their class.
- Community – It affects the community to where possibly a large number of children won’t gain the same knowledge as other kids their age because of the lack of resources
Intervention Needed
- Before schools starts parents should do research on the schools and check reviews, open houses, or ask other family members where they had sent their child.
- We would raise awareness about the issue and gather a community that would help support. Provide support for the educators to ensure that children are getting the high-quality education they need.
Why does this issue need to be addressed right now?
- We believe that it needs to be addressed now because later on they can have trouble learning things when they reach a higher grade which can cause them to be left behind which wouldn’t be necessary if they had gotten a proper education.
