Sample Assignment

This sample assignment is a post that with the category Assignment. You can edit or delete this post. If you edit it, be sure to also change the post author to yourself. You can create your own assignment by creating a new post and giving it the Assignment category (see instructions below).

1. Create a new post and add content to it
2. Add a manual excerpt under Excerpt in the post sidebar on the right. A manual excerpt is usually a short summary of the content of the post. The excerpt will be displayed in the Assignment post archive (the list of all assignments).
3. Add the Assignments category by checking the box next to “Assignments” in the Categories area.
4. Add a featured image (optional) in the post sidebar. If you add a featured image, the image will be displayed in the Assignment post archive (the list of all assignments).
5. Publish the post.

1: Change from Block to Document view by clicking Document

2: Click the Categories title to expand it

3: Check the category you want applied to the post.

4: If you need a new category you can do it right from the page.

1. Click Add New Category Link
2. Write in the name of the category
3. Click the Add New Category Button
