Artist Statement
On Tuesday March 10th, 2020, Rutgers students, staff, and faculty received an email from former Rutgers president, Robert Barchi. This email would be the first of many regarding COVID-19. At the time of the email, there were not yet any confirmed cases of the virus. However, the students of the class of 2020 were willing to sacrifice their semester anyway. The email ends with a note about navigating the situation as a community. As the pandemic spread, Rutgers continued to take measures to prevent the virus from impacting the community.
