I think maybe this is the best place for this. If anyone either completely lost their job recently, or got reduced from at least 4 days a week to 3 or less, I made this cheat sheet to help navigate applying for unemployment a bit. It’s not super inclusive but I think it covers some of the ambiguity about applying. I’ve been on unemployment myself from July 2018 to December 2018, and back on from August 2019 to the present in a special program that allows collection while I’m in school. So if there’s any other questions ya’ll might have I can possibly answer them so you don’t have to spend hours on hold with the unemployment office.
Also, even if you think you won’t get approved, apply anyway. It’s worth it to at least try if you need it.

on the test call today folx were saying how much they needed job information, and I think a couple folx had job calls to share. Here is a great place for them.
