Hi Jasmin, it is always lovely to see people standing up for what they believe, and have strong convictions about. It is even more appealing to see this when it is women, especially women of color. Upon reading up on the Women’s Suffrage Movement, we learned that even though women earned the right to vote in August of 1920, through the hard work and dedication by Susan B Anthony and Elizabeth Cady Stanton. However Black women had to continue the struggle on their own because they were ultimately excluded from the right to vote. Women of color keep your eyes open.
