Here you will find the course syllabus and other vital information about this course. Please be sure to read this information carefully. Once you have completed these preliminary steps, please navigate to the Weekly Folders on the right side menu of this page and review the Week 1 activities. Please write down your section number and include it in any correspondence with me. Also, please include your section number at the start of all discussion board posts.

Towards the end of the semester, we will be reading a short novel “The House on Mango Street” by Sandra Cisneros. A PDF of the book will be available through the course, but some students might prefer to have an actual copy of the book. You can get a very inexpensive copy of the book through Amazon and other online booksellers; however, be sure to do so right away so you won’t forget and will have it in time.
