My name is Anjuli McNeil. I majored in Psychology at Fordham University where I obtained my bachelor’s degree. Since then I have gone on to work in a hospital, which has changed my career path. Working around doctors and nurses started my interest in nursing. I have now come to Bmcc with the goal to purse the nursing program. My major is now science for health.
Reading has always been a passion of mine and with this course I am very excited to read all the literature that is provided. In addition, with this class, I hope to obtain more knowledge on how to improve my writing skills. With this being an intensive course, I would like to use my time management skills to complete weekly assignments in a timely manner.
I look forward to working with everyone for these next few weeks!

Anjuli, as I just commented to Catherine, you have to be a special person to go into nursing at this time. I’m so impressed! Why do you have to take ENG 201 if you already have a bachelor’s degree?
ENG 201 is a requirement for the nursing program. BMCC only accepted my College Writing course to substitute for ENG 101. They did not accept my other English courses due to the names/codes used by Fordham. Their naming system is different as their courses are (1) Close Reading and Critical Writing and (2) Composition and Rhetoric. BMCC was not able to match these courses based on their titles.
And thank you! I love working in a hospital and helping patients.
